<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">You probably already know this, it's all over the news and it's definitely nothing to be joked upon.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">For those who don't know, recently Japan was hit by a 8.9 earthquake and this had in turn unleashed a tsunami onto Northern Japan. The prefecture of Miyagi was pretty much devastated by the water, as shown above, engulfing everything in sight. Local media in Japan has estimated the death toll to be about 1300, with many others missing.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Also something a lot more worrying is the nuclear plant explosion in Fukushima. If a radiation leak occurs, it may be a second Chernobyl happening right in Japan. Honestly, it goes beyond the border of adding insult to injury.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Currently, I know of my friend who is worrying about her teacher who lives near Sendai. I'm sure some of you guys out there might have friends or family in Japan, maybe even in Miyagi. Google has made this wonderful app that helps you register a record of missing people in Japan, hopefully if others know some information, they would also be able to post there. The URL is below:

http://japan.person-finder.appspot.com/
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Truly, this is a heartbreaking and sobering event for us all. However, the best we can do is to pray and hope that those in Japan can be safe.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Sorry for being horribly late, I was having exams for the past two weeks >_>
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">But anyway, time to wrap up Wizard City in this post! Somehow I always feel the need to wrap up all the sidequests in a world before I go to the next one, tying up loose ends in a way. I didn't bother with Golem Tower and Sunken City, though I would complete the latter after I get my powerful spells and a few friends.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Patchy: I'll be back, Grubb.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Besides, I would need the extra cash raked in to buy new stuff, especially new decks and maybe a wand or two. I don't bother with the rest unless I really need them since they're pretty expensive.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

What's death without a little scorpion venom?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Nightshade was, to be honest, not really a problem. The one thing important is to take out the Field Guard who would blast you with high-damage Storm spells. I've heard he drops crown items, and he did drop a nice Sprite hat for me. Plus I got a free Brain Jar from his tower :)
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Patchy: I wonder if it could make a good intelligence-booster potion?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Next up, Colossus Boulevard. This area of Wizard City is a unique one, because whenever you enter a battle by yourself, prepare to be double-teamed. The number of enemies you will face is the number of players on your side +1, except when its at 4. In that case, it would be a normal 4v4.

Since there's 2 players, I will face 3 enemies as shown here.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I would personally recommend completing Colossus Boulevard for first-timer wizards before moving on to Krokotopia, because getting used to this kind of battle system is essential as it is going to be the same for the rest of the worlds, and it gives you extra cash plus beefs you up for the harder enemies in Krokotopia.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Colossus Boulevard is mostly populated by creatures known as Gobblers, which seem to have black holes for stomachs and chomping on a near-endless supply of food.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Patchy: Sounds kind of like you actually.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Not to mention they attack by farting or burping at you, and rooftops seem to be a special treat for them. They go down rather easily though. Also, beware of snowmen with homicidal tendencies.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">An extra note, there's a secret trainer near Mindy Pixiecrown. Turn left and you will see a ramp leading down to a house below to where the trainer is. Life wizards might want to make an early visit to get their Life Trap spell. Wizards of other schools can visit at about Level 22 to get their dispel spells.
Personally, it's my favorite of the three streets, as mentioned in the previous post. It's completely stands out from Firecat Alley and Cyclops Lane due to its surroundings being completely different (waterfalls, river...)
Another week has come and gone, and that means it's time for another Feedback Friday!

Standard disclaimer applies: We do not guarantee to use each and every idea submitted, and questions we pose may or may not be pertaining to things we are currently working on, or will ever undertake. Sometimes, there are just technical limitations that make changing things difficult to impossible, and though we possess all manner of magic wands here, there are technological beasts out there that are beyond our grasp. Sometimes, we may not feel it is within the spirit and vision of the spiral to add or change something. Also, we realize that some of these topics may have been addressed before in other threads - sometimes it's good to pick up a discussion again. Chances are I have read your threads and would like to hear more!

This week we would like to talk spells. If you could add a new "utility" type spell to your class, what would it be? Please stick to simple buff and debuff type spells (Tower Shield, Feint, etc) - we're not talking flashy cinematics and big damage here. Looking forward to see what you have to say!

Have a spectacular weekend! It's supposed to warm up here a bit, which makes this Professor very happy - I'm ready for summer!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zeke interrupting here! Please read Falmea's requirements. If you post a damage spell or something completely unrelated to her topic, it will not be approved.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">To be honest, I've never participated in the previous Feedback Fridays before (lack of ideas), so this is pretty much completely new to me.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This Feedback Friday however did arouse my attention as it pretty much deals with what I pretty much use 24/7 in Wizard101, spells.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Sadly, its utility spells this time, the little 1 or 0 pip spells that you cast on yourself or others that increase your damage, decrease their damage blah blah blah...
Though the difference is that they're now having a nice taste of the Scorpion spell. Also, for some strange reason, I have the habit of going from Cyclops to Firecat and save Triton for last...
